Today we have a 2022 Ram 2500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you some of the cool features about the B and W ball and safety chain loop for Ram factory puck systems. This kit is going to include your gooseneck ball which is a 2 5/16 gooseneck ball rated at 30,000 pounds, two safety chain loops that are going to install in the rear two pucks. They do not fit in the front pucks. The design of the rear puck is a little bit different and it's not nearly as narrow as the front, so they'll install in your rears. What I like about 'em is that all three of 'em are going to lock into place. more

With the factory puck systems, you know, it's really cool how easy they make it to be able to use, you know, a gooseneck style hitch or even a 5th wheel for that matter, you know, these things just drop right into place. And that's exactly how this kit is gonna work, and it'll be compatible with trucks that have a long bed like ours as well as the short bed. With that said, as far as the kit is concerned, I think it's decent. This one is a really heavy-duty style one, it's got a rating of 38,000 pounds, which is definitely up there. more

Curt Underbed Gooseneck Hitch Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit Installation - 2022 Ram 2500- Video
Today, we're gonna be utilizing the OEM puck system on our 2022 Ram 2500. And this right here is the Curt Gooseneck and safety chain kit for that OEM puck system. Utilizing the OEM puck system on your Ram is gonna make this just super quick and easy, so all we have to do is just lift up this little tab here, and we can have our bed back in a matter of seconds. So this is really, really quick, really easy, and this one does have a pretty big capacity compared to the other Curt that you may be looking at. This one has a capacity of 3,800 pounds, and then the other difference between the two Curts is this one is gonna give us about an inch and five eighths of rise. The rise is gonna be very useful if you're already maxing out the coupler on your trailer and you still need to get it a little bit more level, but also, just to make sure that it's gonna clear our tailgate. more

Now our B&W Gooseneck Hitch is going to allow us to tow a Gooseneck Trailer and safely get down the road. But at the same time, whenever we're not towing our Gooseneck we can actually remove the ball and we'll have full bed access. Today on our 2017 Ram 2500, we're going to be test fitting the Reese Elite Series pop in ball kit for the Ram under bed goose neck hitch. Part number is RP30140. Now, the ball itself is 2 5/16 of an inch, which is pretty standard for your goose neck balls. It offers a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds. Of course, you don't want to exceed the carrying capacity of your truck, so check the owner's manual and just go off whatever its tow rating is. Your safety chain connection points will come out just as easy. Lift the keeper, rotate and remove. more

All right, here's what our gooseneck looks like installed. As you can see, it's designed to work properly with our factory setup on our truck here. There was really no modification to the truck, just a couple minor drilling locations, and then it bolts in place where the factory prep package will be. Now that we've shown you the underside, we'll show you what it looks like on top. All right, here we are in the bed of the truck, and you can see what it looks like installed. As you can see, the only part we have really sticking out is our ball, 2 5/16 inch ball. more

Curt Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 2500 we'll be installing the curt under bed goose neck trailer hitch receiver, part number C60614. Here's what everything looks like once it's installed. When we're not towing our trailer and we want to have nice clean access to our truck bed, we put the plug in just like that and it'll keep any dirt and debris from getting inside the receiver making it difficult to insert the ball. As you can see everything sits very nice and flush with the bottom of our bed in these channels here. This won't take up hardly any of our bed space and we'll still be able to lay materials down flat inside our bed without taking up any of the space. Now when we're ready to hook up to our trailer, just remove our plug, take our ball, drop it down, twist the handle, push down in there and our ball's secure. Then we'll be ready to hook up to our goose neck. more

B and W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Ram 2500- Video
Today on our 2016 Ram 2500, we'll be installing the B and W turnover ball, under bed, gooseneck trailer hitch with custom installation kit. Part number BWGNRK1384. This 2-5/16" gooseneck ball coupled with the B and W kit is capable of towing of 30,000 pounds with a 7,500 pound vertical load limit. Obviously, you'll want to consult with your owner's manual of your truck, and find out what it is capable of towing before you attempt to tow a load that heavy. The ball is constructed of a durable steel construction, which will give you many years of service. When we want to remove our ball, or if our truck of is capable of having the ball stored upside down, all we need to do is pull the handle out towards us, and towards the front of the truck. As you can see, it latches in this position for us to remove the ball. When we're ready to put the ball back in, just push towards the rear of the truck and it spring loads itself into the lock position. Here's what our hitch comes with. more

Today on our 2012 Ram 2500, were going to be taking a look at and installing the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number 9464-57. You could see that our Hide-A-Goose has a protective cover thats going to go over the top once you dont have it in use. Its going to be tucked down on the inside, and all we go to do is pull out the handle, lift it up, flip it over, and drop our pin back in place. Once our pin is locked in, were going to have a 25,000-pound towing capacity with 7,500 vertical weight limit, and a 2-5/16-inch bolt. Your safety tie-downs would be on either side, and its going to be secured with a 3-1/2 plate that goes down and secures to our frame of our vehicle. Now, you see on the drivers side, youll have your handle operation with plenty of room to grab it from either side. Pull out and rotate it. more

Today in this 2014 Ram 2500 Crew Cab, we're going to show you the Curt Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, Part Number C60614. All right, this is what the hitch looks like once installed in the bed of the truck. As you can tell there's not much to see. Obviously, we have our hitch ball right here in the middle for your goose neck trailer. When we're not using this, this ball is completely removable. It's pretty simple, just pull up on this little tab right here on top of the ball, and then you can simply pull it out. What happens these two little bearings right here are loosed inside the shank when the lever's pulled up. more

Alright, today on this 2012 Ram 2500 Crew Cab, we're going to install part number 9464-35. This is the Hide a Goose, underbed gooseneck trailer hitch from Drawtite. Let's go ahead and try it out and show you how it works. To unlock it, pull out the handle, and just move it either to the front or the back, and it stays open. Then to lock it back in place, pull it out, out of the d tent and it will fall back into place. With it unlocked, we can take the ball out and leave it out, or we could store the ball inside as well. Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Ram 2500 BWGNRK1308- Video
Today on our 2012 Dodge Ram Pickup 2500 Series, we're going to be installing the B and W Turnover Ball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer hitch, part number BWGNRK1308. Now before we begin our install, we'll go ahead and go over the operation of the hitch. Now, to use your gooseneck hitch, you simply slide the ball in and you release the handle so that it will locks in place. When you're done using the ball, you can pull the handle and release the locking mechanism, slide the ball out, flip it upside down, and you can lock the handle back into position, and the ball can stay in the stored position. You'll also notice here is our safety loops that we've put in, U bolts. Springs underneath allow it to come up, but yet, it keeps held 00:00:54 tight to the bed when not in use. more
